Vote for Team Building

Posted by Cassey | Life | Thursday 13 August 2009 6:42 am

We suppose to have a day team building for our department in Taman Pertanian Malaysia Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam, Shah Alam but today received an email about this issue. Below is the email content.

As you all know The Cheerleaders planned to have a one day Team Building Event next Friday – 21 August 2009. But due to the current H1N1 situation in our country, we would like to know how many of you are still keen to proceed with the Team Building Event on the planned date? Please click on the (Continue | Postpone) button above to send it your response. Your response is very important to us, because based on the poll result we will make the decision whether to continue or postpone the team building event. Thanks.

I voted “Continue” because this has been dragged from last month to this month. I know H1N1 is getting serious but do you think it is easy to get infected? Don’t tell me you stayed at home during weekend, didn’t go to shopping mall to buy stuff, foods and groceries. I believe we can get infected more easier in shopping mall rather than in Taman Pertanian Malaysia Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam, Shah Alam, agree?

At last you are here

Who is here? The most favorite virus H1N1 has ‘visited’ to one of the office mate of other company. It is a confirm case of H1N1 and now he in quarantine. After this incident happen, the building management next day put up the entire poster about what are the symptom of H1N1 and also the cleaning procedure. This virus has explored in a month ago, now only the building management posting up the poster, wasn’t it a bit late? Chinese said this as ‘late know late notice’.

My office is also having the same habit, after knowing this incident then only sent out email to notify all the staff and start distributing the hand cleaning foam to pantry of every floor.

This case is getting worst in Malaysia, suddenly got many case of death because of this H1N1. So if nothing to do at night, better stay at home, watch TV and play with your children. The most important thing is take care of your children because they don’t know about this thing, for them it is nothing to them, they only want to play and watch TV. So if they are fever or sick, must quickly bring them to clinic or hospital, seek professional advice from doctor, don’t simply give them medicine. I know many old people used to do it. So you as your children parent must take care of them by yourself can’t always depends on your parents.

Inside Indian Heaven

Posted by Cassey | Funs | Tuesday 11 August 2009 2:36 am

Interesting stuff from my friend. Share it here with you all.

An Indian man died and went to heaven. When he arrived at the heaven Gate Siva the God said, ‘Come on in. I’ll show you around. You’ll like it here.’

Walking through the gates, the man noticed clocks everywhere. There were grandfather clocks, wall clocks, watches, and clocks in every corner.

It appeared that heaven was nothing more than a giant clock warehouse.

Surprised at how heaven looked, the man asked, ‘God Siva, what’s the deal? Why are all these clocks here in heaven?¨ God Siva replied, ‘The clocks keep track of things on earth. There is one clock for each person.

Every time the person on earth tells a lie, his clock moves one minute.’

‘For instance, this clock is for VK Lingam, the lawyer.
If you watch it closely, it will move.

‘Click’ The minute hand on VK Lingam’s clock moved one minute.

‘Click’ It moved another minute. ‘ VK Lingam must be with some judges right now.’ said God Siva. ‘ The minute hand on his clock moves all day.’

‘Why the minute hand suddenly jumps three times?’ God Siva smiles and said ‘ He must have just said ‘correct, correct, correct !’. I see it jumps like that quite often.

The man and God Siva continued walking. Soon, they came to a strange looking clock with some springs sticking out. Siva said ‘ Oh ! That is Paul Augustine ‘s clock. During the Anwar’s trial, the clock spinned so fast and the springs came out each time he said ‘irrelevant and irrelevant’. Now it is moving quite smoothly’.

The man and God Siva continued their walk . They came to a clock with cobwebs on the minute hand. ‘Whose clock is this?’ asked the man.

That clock belongs to the Lawyer Karpal Singh. He is one of the finest, God-fearing, people on earth. I bet his clock hasn’t moved in a year or two.’

They continued walking and touring heaven. The man enjoyed watching the clocks of all his friends. When the tour was finished, the man said, ‘I’ve seen everyone’s clock but Mr.Samy Vellu’s. Where is his clock?

God Siva smiled, ‘Just look up. We use his clock as a ceiling fan. That’s why it is so cooling here. ‘?

Lucky Ball

Posted by Cassey | Information | Sunday 9 August 2009 3:59 am

I bet all of us know what snooker is, but do you know what is lucky ball?

Lucky ball is another type of snooker game that played in snooker table and the balls are filled by numbers from 1 to 15. The color is same as the ball for billiard but the size is smaller compare to billiard, it is same size as normal snooker ball.

This is mainly for gambling, but do you know how it plays?

Let’s assume they are 4 players, each of the players will get 6/7(depends) cards (normal playing card). J is 11, Q is 12 and K is 13. What about 14 and 15? Yup, these are the lucky ball. If you entered one of the lucky ball and the other 3 players will pay you money, and the ball will be placed back on the snooker table, only number 14 and 15 can be placed back to the table. There is a rule that you must have license before hitting the lucky ball. What is license? License is you have to enter one of the number ball that you have (the 6/7 cards) by your own self. After entered have to open to proof it. License can be gone if you foul. Once foul then can’t hit the lucky ball, have to get the license back. The person who entered all the number balls that he/she had considered winner.

Sounds simple and easy?

Still not settle?

Yesterday night my colleague told me they are someone called to office and looked for Alan Yap, he said he is Along. My colleague heard it from one of my closest colleague. Why she doesn’t want to ask me directly? Am I cannot be trusted anymore?

As what I know was only 2 Alongs not accept the offer offered by Datuk Michael Chong. Recently only one of them called me for settlement, but this fellow doesn’t call me Alan Yap, 2 from those who had settled called me Alan Yap, this is really strange. The other point is why the fellow doesn’t call to my mobile and called to office? I think they do not satisfy about the payment, but how come until recently only called to my office? Strange.

Malay Buy Number

Posted by Cassey | News | Thursday 6 August 2009 1:30 am

Few Malay people are caught because of buying number (Maganum, Da Ma Cai, Sports Toto). They definitely will face the law justice but what about the shop that sell the number to them? They should know they are now allowed to sell number to Malay people as this is the rule and regulation.

It is similar case to shops that sell cigarettes to people below 18 years old. Once found guilty, they will be fined, right? Does this apply to this case?

Euphoria, Ministry Of Sound

Posted by Cassey | Life | Monday 3 August 2009 5:23 am

Euphoria, Ministry of Sound located next to Sunway Resort Hotel. I went there last Friday night together with friends, total 6 guys and 1 gal. My friend booked a table and the charges is about RM700 with 2 bottles of Chivas. He told me cover charge is RM80, table is RM700, seat is RM1400 and room is RM2000. Cover charges are waived to those who booked table, seat or room. Do you think it is expensive?

I can see many people queuing at the entrance. When I step into the hall, it was crowded by people and they are having some games. Now the young people are really rich. For me I won’t pay RM80 for this kind of places, maybe we are old, not suitable for this ‘planet’.

The music is powerful, got people singing as well. When is disco time, the stage was full of people. I can see a girl came with her friends, taking photo inside the disco stage. From there I noticed an innocent looking girl that can dance well, very well in body shaking. She was the only girl I am attracted on.

I came out from the disco 2 hours later, I can’t stand, I feel like vomiting and hungry, so I went to the nearest Chinese hawker stall for foods. I ordered pork porridge, and then eat half way feel like vomiting. I bring the bowl to the porridge counter and told him I want to go toilet, this put here first. I vomited in the wash room. Came out and continue the porridge. One of my friends joined me 10 minutes later. He ordered foods as well. I am still feeling like vomiting, so I go to the wash room second round and vomit there.

My other friends having drinks in coffee shop and asked us to join them. We reached there and I said ‘Excuse me, I need to go wash room’. Do what? Vomit again. Wah, already 3 times I vomit, stomach also feel empty, so ordered a cup of kopi.

I fetched my friend home and on the way back got road block. Both of us drink a lot, so he teaches me the short cut to his house, skipping the road block set by the police.

I vomit another time when I reach home. Vomit out all the kopi. Really wasting money. Beer I can take it but whisky I can’t. Walked up to 3rd floor and sleep on the bed without changing, drunk.

Meet up – 2nd, Carmen new toy

Posted by Cassey | Personal | Sunday 2 August 2009 8:22 am

Carmen asked me to buy her a mobile phone or telephone. I asked mum why she suddenly want it? My mum told me she saw the cartoon characters talking to each other using mobile phone, so she also wants it. Actually she is not want a new mobile phone, is just her mobile phone is missing somewhere.

I bought her a pair of ‘walkie-talkie’ from Carrefour, so she can talk to my mum in the house. The walkie-talkie is better than mobile phone, is more lasting to play.

When I pass the walkie-talkie to Carmen, she said ‘Thank you papa’. The picture in the walkie-talkie is her favorite Barbie doll picture.

Carmen cried all the way home when mummy came to fetch her. She holds my arm and cry before mummy carry her. My heart also feels sad. I stayed there until mummy drive the car away, to make sure nothing happen. Suddenly I want to sing some song, some sad song to explore my feeling. Hope we can gather soon.

‘Zoo Negara’ need funds!

Posted by Cassey | News | Saturday 1 August 2009 8:01 am

25 years ago, Zoo Negara is a very famous place, tourism and local people will go there for funs. I went there when I was few years old. If you asked me what I remember on Zoo Negara, I will tell you is KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken). That time KFC played a lot of TV advertisement with the theme song. The song is something like ‘Let’s go to the Zoo …’ I really can’t remember the lyrics but I can remember the rhythm. Every time went there sure had KFC as our lunch.

25 years later, which is current, less people visit the zoo. I went there recently and noticed it is getting lesser animals and some cages are empty. Now the management request money from government to run the zoo with some improvement plans. I am not sure what kind of plan is that, but I do hope they can improve it because I still hope to bring Carmen and mum to Zoo Negara in future. Hope Zoo Negara still exists in future years. Is there any way to raise the fund beside propose to government? I think maybe they can run some functions/events to attract people. I definitely will be there.
