Surrogate, this movie is about human replacement. You are mentally controlling the robot at home. You won’t get hurt even the robot got injured except for the chip explosion. So you won’t see many real people walk on the street except for robot restricted area.

The initial intention for this invention is for disable people to have normal living life. They can control the robot by their brain.

Imagings that you only show your real face when you are at home and show fake face to people on the street. Do you like this life? Do you like to communicate with robot and not human? So you might have sex with robot (possible?).
