Our pet

Posted by Cassey | Life | Thursday 5 November 2009 7:25 am

It is so boring to stay at home alone, so I decided to get a pet.

Finally I got 2 turtles for Carmen and 2 for me as well. Both of us taking care 2 turtles and see whose turtle growing up faster.

Our turtles call red-eared slider. Below are the pictures of a red-eared slider.

Mum told me Carmen don’t scare of it, she dared to pick up the turtle from the plastic aquarium. I think she don’t know turtle can bite her hand. She catch them and put on the floor, let them race to each others.

Before getting this, actually she already told me she want fish, but I think turtle is much easy for her to taking care.

Sick, sick, sick

Posted by Cassey | Life | Thursday 3 September 2009 2:03 am

I was sick for a couple of weeks. Fever, cough and pain, but is not H1N1.

Until today also not fully recover, still coughing, but is on and off. Especially sleeping sometimes will wake up because of coughing.

Cough is very difficult to recover as one of my colleague she had cough for more than a month. She told me she coughs often in office. She and her boss suspect is the office air conditioner not clean.

Have you ever think of what kind of air coming out from air conditioner? Is the air safe to us?

Office sanitizing treatment for H1N1

Posted by Cassey | Life | Thursday 20 August 2009 12:26 am

Tonight cannot stay back in the office as we are informing that Rentokil (M) will conduct a sanitizing (disinfection) treatment (H1N1) this evening.

We are given instruction that must leave the office latest by 6:15pm. Laptop users are advice to take the laptop home or lock it in the drawer. No valuables keep in the office, must lock the drawer. Foods are not allowed to keep in the office. the final instruction given was to cover all desktop monitors and CPU with brown paper, but I cover it with newspaper.

This is what we meant by efficient. Company efficiency is appreciated. So tonight can to night market for ‘junk foods’.

Abnormal life

Posted by Cassey | Life | Tuesday 18 August 2009 3:21 am

Monday, first day of the working week. I reached office at 9am and work until 5:20pm, received a call from friend asking me want to do part time or not. Part time, but misunderstood this, his part time is play “Lucky”. The time is 7pm.

I already packed rice for dinner with 2 fried chicken wings, fried egg and fried fish slice. I had the same meal in the afternoon, the total cost for it is RM7.30, is it cheap?

I received another call at 6:30pm from another “kaki” (snooker mate), he said he already reached and asked me where I am. I said on the way and actually I am lying down on the bed, relaxing.

I joined them at 7pm and you guess what played until what time. 4 of us played until 10pm and another guy joined us, these are the usual snooker mates. We played until 1:40am. The table money was about RM116. Phew, first time our table money exceeds RM100. My leg is tired during the play time, stand too long.

It is not over yet, because those who won money have to buy loser meals. This is our law. Winners treat loser meals so loser won’t feel so bad. They are 2 winners on yesterday, me and another friend (he always wins money). Both of us won about RM 130. And our bills for the food are about RM90.

I reached home at 3:20am. This is really an abnormal life. I think I prefer family life more than this, at least at night got people to hug and kiss, right?

New HR AD

Posted by Cassey | Life | Monday 17 August 2009 2:08 am

Did I mention HR department has a new Associate Director? She report to work on July and she is 3-4 years younger than me. Even her age is younger than me but her salary is triple times higher than my salary. How come people can earn 5 digits salary per month and I can’t? And the worst thing is she is younger than me, sigh.

She has a long curly hair, ordinary face with ordinary body. One thing I realized about her is she only wear long pants to office, I never see her wear skirt before. Her voice is a bit ‘tea’ (‘manja’, soft like little women talk to guy, pampered). Why I said so? Because she is sitting behind me but in next row. I can hear her conversation. She spoke English, Malay, Mandarin and Hokkien. When she talked to Chinese, her language will be English + Mandarin + Hokkien, a mixture of 3 languages. I think Malaysian is like Singaporean speaks multi languages/dialects on one conversation.

Sometimes I heard her talked to her boy friend on the phone. She pampered to her boy friend. Sometime are very irritating and no manners listening to people conversation, but our seat is quite close. Because of my seat position, I am like satellite, received a lots of information from HR department, like spy. Remember the movie Transformers 2? There is a robot spy on the satellite? I am like the robot, hahaha.

Sigh, I am thinking when I can like her earning 5 digits per month?

Piccadilly in Millennium Square

Posted by Cassey | Life | Sunday 16 August 2009 9:18 am

I went there on last Saturday. This is my first time to there, the restaurant opened few years ago. I didn’t plan to there but I received a call from my friend say that he is boring at home, so ask me out for a drink, plus tonight is the EPL opening match, so ask me to watch outside.

I saw a big London town picture on the wall inside the restaurant, but they served variety of foods, like western, Chinese, Malays, Indians and others which I can’t remember. The menu is full of EPL team photos.

My friend ordered fried rice and I ordered twin burger (2 slices of beef), too hungry and long time didn’t eat burger. My friend is satisfy with the fried rice but I am not satisfy with my burger, I am not full after eating the burger plus the fries, this mean the portion is not big. But I saw others ordered foods served with big plate or bowl and I spy on it, the portion is big. I think I make a wrong choice.

We ordered beer as well. I can hear people shouting when someone scored goal. When I came back from washroom, I purposely walked around the restaurant, see got pretty girls or not. A lot of girls there plus a lot of black guys, don’t know where they from. My friends also busy looking around. I can see his eyes move around when some girls passing by.

We watched 2 and the half matches there, Chelsea against Hull City, Blackburn against Manchester City and Everton against Arsenal. The other half of the match we watched it in “Ming Tien”, Taman Megah. 2 am plus still got many people hanging out there. this is what we call City Life (part of it).

Vote for Team Building

Posted by Cassey | Life | Thursday 13 August 2009 6:42 am

We suppose to have a day team building for our department in Taman Pertanian Malaysia Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam, Shah Alam but today received an email about this issue. Below is the email content.

As you all know The Cheerleaders planned to have a one day Team Building Event next Friday – 21 August 2009. But due to the current H1N1 situation in our country, we would like to know how many of you are still keen to proceed with the Team Building Event on the planned date? Please click on the (Continue | Postpone) button above to send it your response. Your response is very important to us, because based on the poll result we will make the decision whether to continue or postpone the team building event. Thanks.

I voted “Continue” because this has been dragged from last month to this month. I know H1N1 is getting serious but do you think it is easy to get infected? Don’t tell me you stayed at home during weekend, didn’t go to shopping mall to buy stuff, foods and groceries. I believe we can get infected more easier in shopping mall rather than in Taman Pertanian Malaysia Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam, Shah Alam, agree?

Euphoria, Ministry Of Sound

Posted by Cassey | Life | Monday 3 August 2009 5:23 am

Euphoria, Ministry of Sound located next to Sunway Resort Hotel. I went there last Friday night together with friends, total 6 guys and 1 gal. My friend booked a table and the charges is about RM700 with 2 bottles of Chivas. He told me cover charge is RM80, table is RM700, seat is RM1400 and room is RM2000. Cover charges are waived to those who booked table, seat or room. Do you think it is expensive?

I can see many people queuing at the entrance. When I step into the hall, it was crowded by people and they are having some games. Now the young people are really rich. For me I won’t pay RM80 for this kind of places, maybe we are old, not suitable for this ‘planet’.

The music is powerful, got people singing as well. When is disco time, the stage was full of people. I can see a girl came with her friends, taking photo inside the disco stage. From there I noticed an innocent looking girl that can dance well, very well in body shaking. She was the only girl I am attracted on.

I came out from the disco 2 hours later, I can’t stand, I feel like vomiting and hungry, so I went to the nearest Chinese hawker stall for foods. I ordered pork porridge, and then eat half way feel like vomiting. I bring the bowl to the porridge counter and told him I want to go toilet, this put here first. I vomited in the wash room. Came out and continue the porridge. One of my friends joined me 10 minutes later. He ordered foods as well. I am still feeling like vomiting, so I go to the wash room second round and vomit there.

My other friends having drinks in coffee shop and asked us to join them. We reached there and I said ‘Excuse me, I need to go wash room’. Do what? Vomit again. Wah, already 3 times I vomit, stomach also feel empty, so ordered a cup of kopi.

I fetched my friend home and on the way back got road block. Both of us drink a lot, so he teaches me the short cut to his house, skipping the road block set by the police.

I vomit another time when I reach home. Vomit out all the kopi. Really wasting money. Beer I can take it but whisky I can’t. Walked up to 3rd floor and sleep on the bed without changing, drunk.

Out of ‘cage’

Posted by Cassey | Life | Tuesday 28 July 2009 10:39 am

Starting from today onwards until 8th of August, I am like a tiger just release from the cage, can run freely in the office. Why? Is because today my boss flies to Taiwan for product launching, here only left me and the new guy, so I am the temporarily ‘king’, can come to office and go home at any time. Haha.

Friend gathering

Posted by Cassey | Life | Friday 24 July 2009 6:13 am

Last night have gathering with friends, only 5 of us, all guys. We plan to Euphoria Sunway, and actually I don’t know what kind of place is that, only know it is next to Sunway Resort hotel.

Plan changed for no reason (actually I don’t know what is the reason, just follow the group), my friend said want to try something new, want to go ‘shake head’ disco. Nobody object, so we went to disco in Sri Petaling, top floor of Carrefour.

For origin of 5 people become 7 people, another 2 friend’s meet up there. Before entering the main door of disco, about 20 feet far also can hear the base of the music, make my heartbeat faster. No cover charge, so we ordered 2 jugs of beer and start looking at the dancing stage, a lot of people dancing there.

A couple of minutes later, there are few girls come over and asked ‘Can I be your partner?’. ‘Why not?’ that’s that my friend replies. They are from China, came here to find side income. Their body will stick to your body and start dancing and of course our hand is start moving around. Are we naughty?

They asked us want to buy pills or not, we said ‘No’, we just want to have fun and not trying all these pills. We changed place about 45 minutes later, can’t stand the music, too loud and strong. My friend asked me how much I pay the China girl, I was surprise that ‘Do I need to pay?’. He said he pays RM30 and she request RM50, my friend give excuse that we just came me for short hour. I didn’t pay her and how come she didn’t chase for me? Is because that time she went to ladies. Hah, they all laugh at me.

This round we moved to pub, pub that have singer sing songs, also have girls but not as daring as just now. The pub located in Kuchai Entrepreneur Park, where my in law house is there. We reached there at 1am and went off at 3am then went for Dim Sum until 4am. It has been long time I didn’t have such experience after married. Is it every married man also stayed at home every night? Or they living style changed after married?
