Cow head

Posted by Cassey | News | Wednesday 9 September 2009 2:33 am

Recently Malaysia happen a new issue.

On Aug 28, certain Shah Alam residents protesting the relocation of a Hindu temple to their neighbourhood dragged the decapitated head of a cow, then stamped and spat on it. The cow is considered sacred by Hindus.
Police did not take action at the time, but after public pressure arrested some of those involved on Tuesday. They were charged in court on Wednesday.
…………………..
Six men were charged with sedition at the Sessions Court on Wednesday for their involvement in a protest in which they dragged a cow’s head to the front of the state secretariat building last month, then proceeded to stamp and spit on it.
The six were also charged with taking part in an illegal assembly, along with six other men, at the Magistrates Court.

Sources are from TheStar.

Many people are gossiping this issue. Many people said why this illegal assembly police did not do as what they did on previous illegal assembly? Why not treated as normal procedure? Or this is the normal procedure and the past time is not a normal procedure? This is really strange.

Malay Buy Number

Few Malay people are caught because of buying number (Maganum, Da Ma Cai, Sports Toto). They definitely will face the law justice but what about the shop that sell the number to them? They should know they are now allowed to sell number to Malay people as this is the rule and regulation.

It is similar case to shops that sell cigarettes to people below 18 years old. Once found guilty, they will be fined, right? Does this apply to this case?

‘Zoo Negara’ need funds!

Posted by Cassey | News | Saturday 1 August 2009 8:01 am

25 years ago, Zoo Negara is a very famous place, tourism and local people will go there for funs. I went there when I was few years old. If you asked me what I remember on Zoo Negara, I will tell you is KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken). That time KFC played a lot of TV advertisement with the theme song. The song is something like ‘Let’s go to the Zoo …’ I really can’t remember the lyrics but I can remember the rhythm. Every time went there sure had KFC as our lunch.

25 years later, which is current, less people visit the zoo. I went there recently and noticed it is getting lesser animals and some cages are empty. Now the management request money from government to run the zoo with some improvement plans. I am not sure what kind of plan is that, but I do hope they can improve it because I still hope to bring Carmen and mum to Zoo Negara in future. Hope Zoo Negara still exists in future years. Is there any way to raise the fund beside propose to government? I think maybe they can run some functions/events to attract people. I definitely will be there.
